What We Believe
Our Story
West Edmonton Baptist Church (WEB) is a community of faith comprised of God’s people from many nations who all share the same Lord, Jesus, the Messiah. Though we are ethnically and culturally diverse, we joyfully gather for worship, discipleship, fellowship and service as one Church.
Sunday by Sunday this means some among us are checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been worshiping God and walking with Jesus for much of their lives.
Since 1977, WEB has been inviting the people of Edmonton to learn what it means to have a relationship with the Living God. Perhaps you want to explore Christianity or share your faith journey with others. WEB is a place where you can wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you.
We invite you to come, learn about God and what our community of faith is all about. It’s OK if you don’t have it all figured out yet. Everyone is welcome! Grow with us!

About
A native of Southern California and a permanent resident of Canada since 1981, it has been Kim’s privilege to serve the Living God vocationally since 1980. During this time, his faith has been shaped by participation in Global Ministries and Global Ministry support service in some 30 countries. Kim has also engaged in pastoral and post-secondary Christian education ministries in Canada and the USA. Ordained by the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists in Canada, Kim’s undergrad and graduate training emphasized Christian Education, Biblical Studies and Intercultural Studies.
With a joy that transcends description, Kim has been married to Winnie since 1981! Together, Kim and Winnie are the proud and extraordinarily thankful parents of one chosen son, Dave.
